Men's 4x100m Freestyle (Swimming) - 2000

The strength of any swim team can be gauged by its relay performances. On the opening night of Swimming at the 2000 Olympics, the Australian 4x100m freestyle relay team set the benchmark.

This was a tremendous victory for Australia as it was the first time an American team had been beaten in this Olympic race.
