Australian Netball Team 1963 (Netball) - 1963

In order to attend the championships, the team travelled by sea and conducted their daily preparation on the ship’s deck. Eleven countries competed in the inaugural championships, with Australia emerging undefeated as the sport’s first world champions defeating New Zealand in the final by a goal, 37 – 36.
