Men's Coxless Pair (Rowing) - 2003/04

James Tomkins and Drew Ginn cemented their names as one of the greatest pairings in international rowing history after winning gold in the coxless pairs event at the 2004 Athens Olympics. The medal was the second Olympic gold for Ginn and the third for Tomkins. In 2003 they were recognised as the FISA Male Crew of the Year after their stunning win in the World Championships in Milan. The win in Athens saw Tomkins become Australia’s most successful rower with three Olympic gold medals and nine World Championships gold medals.
