Dawn Fraser and John Bertrand induct nations best Don Award and Legend to be unveiled
Australian sport’s night of nights, The 29th Sport Australia Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala Dinner, will be held in Melbourne this Thursday night, 10th October.

Join Australian swimming Legend Dawn Fraser AO MBE and sailing great John Bertrand AM at the National Sports Museum.
Fraser, the first ever female Inductee who was elevated to Legend status in 1993 and Bertrand, the Chairman of The Sport Australia Hall of Fame, will present the Inductees with their official pins and invite them to unveil their individual plaques in The Sport Australia Hall of Fame “Spirit of Sport” exhibit at the National Sports Museum.
It will be the first time all seven Inductees will be available together in the lead up to The Sport Australia Hall of Fame Annual Induction and Awards Gala Dinner, proudly presented by Etihad Airways, later that evening at Crown Melbourne.
The final Inductee will be revealed at the media activity this Thursday.

Media are welcome to attend the arrivals of the Legends of Australian sport for the 2013 Annual Induction and Awards Gala dinner.
