THE SPORT AUSTRALIA HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS - MEMBERSHIP
Membership of The Sport Australia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) is the crowning achievement of a sporting career, and represents the highest level of peer recognition for an individual's contribution to his or her sport.
SAHOF recognises and promotes the outstanding sporting achievements of our sportsmen and women to preserve Australia's rich sporting heritage. It is an illustrious group of Australia's most respected and celebrated champions that span time. They are the best of the best, who through their achievements have made a significant contribution to ournations sporting history and have inspired young Australians to achieve their potential in both sport and life.
The Sport Australia Hall of Fame Membership is divided into two categories; Athlete Members and General Members. Athlete Members are those who have competed at the top level of competition available in their chosen sport. General Members are selected for excellence and outstanding achievements in roles supportive to sports participants (administration, coaching / training, sports media / history, sports science / technology and sports umpiring, referring, judging).
BEFORE YOU NOMINATE
Forms can be completed online but must be printed and posted.
We request that nomination information is fully contained within the nomination form and ask that you do not send attachments or references. If required, we will seek these from you.
Nomination forms received prior to December 10 of each year, will be considered for the following year. Any received after this date will be considered for the year thereafter.
