Ashlee Brown - Tennis

17 year old tennis player, Ashlee Brown was the first Northern Territorian to win the national singles championship. She currently holds a world junior ranking of 201. Her aspirations for 2007 are to compete in two junior Grand Slams and reduce her world senior ranking to below 600. Ashlee also takes time to mentor younger tennis athletes in the Northern Territory.

When considering the stature of an athlete or for that matter any person, I set great store in certain qualities which I believe to be essential in addition to skill. They are that the person conducts his of her life with dignity, with integrity, courage, and perhaps most of all, with modesty.
