Dani Samuels - Athletics

Dani Samuels, at just 18 years of age, competed at the recent 2006 World Junior Championships, achieving gold in the discus and finishing seventh in the shot put. This was achieved while studying year 12. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, she won bronze in the discus and finished 12th in the shot put. At the 2005 World Youth Championships she won gold in the discus and bronze in the shot put and at the 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games, she won gold in both the discus and shot put. Her aspirations include making the finals of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, to win gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and to medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
