Mitchell Estens - Rowing

Mitchell is a gifted athlete and rower as demonstrated by his selection in the Australian Junior Four which competed in the World Championships in Germany in 2005 and the Australian Eight which competed in the 2007 Under 23 World Championships in Scotland, winning a Bronze Medal.

At the 2007 National Champioships Mitchell won 3 gold and a bronze medal in Under 23 events and was also selected as stroke of the NSW Youth Eight which won gold in the Interstate regatta winning by a record margin. Mitchell has also represented NSW on several occasions including the 2007 Youth Olympics, 2006 and 2007 Kings Cup Regatta and the 2006 Youth Cup.

Mitchell has competed at the international level in rowing while still achieving strong academic and extra curricula results. He has a strong dedication to the sport of rowing and he is a strong competitor who performs better the bigger the occasion.
