Keefer Wilson

Keefer Wilson is a skateboarder who was awarded a Tier 2 Scholarship within the Sport Australia Hall of Fame 2026 Scholarship and Mentoring Program.

Keefer discovered his love for skating at a young age, starting out by simply mucking around on a skateboard and riding anything with wheels. His fearless, daredevil nature quickly became evident, and by age 11 he had the incredible opportunity to compete in the X Games Big Air competition in Sydney. Keefer went on to compete in two more X Games Big Air competitions before the event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, Keefer began training with Skate Australia, where he discovered his passion for park skating and set his sights on the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He has since travelled the world competing in World Skateboarding Olympic Qualifiers, achieving consistent results, including a career-best 8th place at the World Championships. Keefer qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where he reached the finals and finished 8th overall.

Passionate and determined, Keefer is currently recovering from a broken kneecap. He is working hard on his rehabilitation and is eager to return to competition, with his sights firmly set on continuing his journey in skateboarding. When retired he would love to be involved in coaching and inspiring the next generations of skaters.

“I am extremely grateful to be a SAHOF scholarship recipient. I feel very privileged to be a part of the program and can’t wait to take my sport to the next level with the help of SAHOF.”– Keefer Wilson on being selected as a 2026 Tier 2 Scholarship Holder.
