Maggie Grey

Maggie Grey is a diver who was awarded a Tier 2 Scholarship within the 2026 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship & Mentoring Program.

Maggie is one of Australia’s most exciting young platform divers, rapidly establishing herself on the international stage. Beginning her sporting journey in gymnastics, she transitioned to diving at just nine years old, where her aerial awareness and discipline quickly set her apart.

Now a Junior World Champion and multiple national title holder, Maggie’s rapid rise through the sport has been nothing short of remarkable. At just 14, she qualified for her first Senior World  Championships—one of the youngest Australians ever to compete at that level.

On her journey, she has earned podium finishes on both junior and senior circuits, including a breakthrough gold medal at the Canada Cup. Her achievements already paint the picture of a world-class career in the making. With gold medals collected across the globe and success at both junior and senior levels, Maggie remains focused on her ultimate goal – representing Australia at both the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane.

Receiving the Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship is an incredible honour and one of the proudest moments of my sporting journey so far. To be recognised by such a prestigious organisation means so much, especially knowing the Hall of Fame is made up of Australia’s greatest athletes — people who have inspired generations, broken barriers, and represented our country with pride on the world stage. To be connected, even in a small way, to that history is truly humbling. This scholarship isn’t just support for my diving — it’s a belief in my potential. It inspires me to keep working hard, to learn from the example set by those legendary athletes, and to chase my dreams” – Maggie Grey on being selected as a 2026 Tier 2 Scholarship Recipient
