Few teams have dominated their sport the way the St George Dragons dominated Rugby League from 1956 to 1966. In 1966, under captain-coach Ian Walsh, the Dragons finished the home and away season on top of the ladder then thrashed Balmain 23-4 in the Grand Final to record the club’s 11th successive premiership.
