Charlotte Wilson is a freestyle mogul skier who was awarded a Tier 2 Scholarship within the 2026 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship and Mentoring Program.

Growing up in Jindabyne, Charlotte began skiing at the age of three, and quickly fell in love with mogul skiing. She was named in the Australian Development Team and as an NSWIS scholarship holder in 2022 as a 17-year-old, and from there began training and competing overseas in the North American Cup Tour for Australia.

In 2024, Charlotte made her World Cup debut in Ruka, Finland, where she achieved a 20th place. In the next four starts however, Charlotte achieved a top 10 and two top 5 finishes, quickly proving she was competitive on the FIS Freestyle World Cup tour. In 2025, Charlotte was crowned FIS Mogul Skiing Rookie of the Year and made history by winning her first World Cup gold medal in dual moguls at Livigno, Italy in the Olympic test event, on just her 10th World Cup start. The victory was the fastest ever by an Australian skier, and she became only the third Australian woman to win a FIS Freestyle Mogul World Cup. Charlotte is now looking forward to working towards the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Games.

Balancing sport and study, Charlotte is completing a Bachelor of Materials Science & Engineering (Honours) and a Masters of Biomedical Engineering at UNSW, with ambitions to work in the field of prosthetics after graduation. She hopes to combine her academic knowledge and sporting experience to help develop advanced prosthetics, particularly for athletes. Beyond her career goals, Charlotte is passionate about inspiring young people—especially girls—to pursue mogul skiing.

“Being a SAHOF scholarship recipient is an amazing opportunity which I believe will greatly benefit my success both within sport and support my life outside of sport. I am extremely grateful for the SAHOF’s support, and the scholarship motivates me to work harder to achieve my best on the world stage. I am excited to continue working on myself as an athlete and to use every opportunity the SAHOF scholarship offers to succeed, and I feel very privileged to be recognised in a program that has supported Australia’s greatest athletes.” – Charlotte Wilson on being selected as a 2026 Tier 2 Scholarship Holder.
