The Annual Black-Tie Gala Dinner brings together the largest annual gathering of Australian sporting greats under the one roof, along with Captains of Industry, Sport and Government to reflect and celebrate Australia’s most magnificent sporting achievements, past and present.
Induction into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame is one of the highest national sporting honours that can be bestowed. With 565 Members it represents the pinnacle of Australian sporting excellence; on and off the field of endeavour and across all sports and genders.
Presentations on the evening included
- Induction of new Australian sporting greats into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame
- Announcement of the 41st Legend of Australian Sport
- Naming of 2019 ‘The Don’ Award winner
- Presentation to the recipients of the 2020 Scholarship and Mentoring Program
