Kristy Munroe remains one of Australia’s most decorated surf lifesavers. Across her outstanding 11-year career, she won state, national and world championship Ironwoman crowns, captained her country and, prior to winning her first national title, was selected as a junior to represent the Australian athletics team. She won two world Ironwoman championships and nine Australian titles, before she captained the Australian team at a world championship event, and did it all before her 21st birthday.
