A year later, he took on the world and won bronze in the Vault at the Junior International Team Cup in the USA, and finished fourth in that apparatus at the Pacific Rim Championships. These impressive results earned selection in the World Championships team, and he then returned home to win gold on the Floor at the Australian Championships.

Heath also won medals at the national championships in Floor and Vault in 2019, and competed at the Melbourne World Cup, before jetting off to Italy to compete at the World University Games, where he finished 6th in the Vault.

Heath is working towards taking on the world’s best at the world championships, Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games in the future, and is completing a Bachelor of Communication at Queensland University of Technology. He hopes to pursue a career in Public Relations and Advertising, and to advocate for positive human change and greater equality.
