Lucy Darragh is a surfer who was awarded a Tier 3 Scholarship within the Sport Australia Hall of Fame 2026 Scholarship and Mentoring Program.

Lucy Darragh, a 15-year-old from Gerringong, NSW will be representing Australia as the youngest member of the Irukandjis Surfing team at the ISA World Games in 2025.

Lucy is on an exciting journey with aspirations to compete in the World Surf League professional surfing tour and to qualify for the Olympic Games in both 2028 and 2032. She recently had a breakthrough win in the WSL Nias Pro, launching her to the top of the rankings and is now on her way to qualifying for the 2026 Challenger Series.

Her dedication and potential have recently been recognized through her selection by the NSW Institute of Sport for the Pursu32+ Talent ID camps, marking her as an emerging talent in Olympic sports.

Outside of her sport, Lucy is still deciding on her career path but would like to become an animal rescuer or a pediatrician. She also wants to have a family with children and lots of dogs!
