Ashlee Brown is a tennis player who was awarded a Scholarship within the 2007 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship and Mentoring Program, she was paired with Margaret Court AO MBE as her Mentor.
Ashlee was born in the Northern Territory in 1989 and served as an ambassador for the territory for many years, as well as playing elite tennis.
In her junior years, Ashlee became the first player from the Northern Territory to win a national singles championship. She dedicated herself whole-heartedly to her sport and undertook her final years of high school by distance education so that she could travel for training and competition on the world junior and senior tours.
Ashlee also takes time to mentor younger tennis athletes in the Northern Territory.
