Conner Maggs is a Surf Life Saving athlete who was awarded a Tier 1 Scholarship within the 2026 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship & Mentoring Program. He was paired with former professional road cyclist and triple winner of the Tour de France’s green jersey classification Robbie McEwen AM.
Conner is a dedicated and driven athlete known for his achievements in surf lifesaving and Ironman racing. As the reigning Ironman Series champion, Conner has consistently proven himself against the best in the sport. His standout performances include multiple podium finishes across the World Ocean Racing Series and a dominant campaign in the 2024/25 Nutri-Grain Ironman Series, where he secured the overall title.
Away from competition, Conner enjoys staying active through basketball, golf, and surfing, and values time spent outdoors with family and friends.
He’s passionate about personal growth and giving back, with aspirations to mentor young athletes and create a business that helps athletes find purpose during and after their sporting careers. Sport has given him so much, he’s driven to use his experiences to guide others, ensuring athletes feel supported at every stage of their journey.
