Australian Aerial Skiing Team (Flying Kangaroos) (Skiing) – 2002/3
Following the remarkable success of the members of the Flying Kangaroo team at the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games in 2002, the team went on in 2003 to claim the world number one ranking for the first time, becoming the most successful Australian winter sports team in history. In all the team won four gold, four silver and two bronze World Cup medals during the 2003 World Cup season. It was the fist time that Australian athletes have occupied the top two positions in the world in any winter sport.
